A New Hope: Part 1

Hello there! Welcome from a new point of view.

After more than three years watching Star Wars in universe chronology, we hit the grandaddy of it all: 1977’s “Star Wars: A New Hope.” Watching this film with the context of everything that has come before it makes for an extraordinary experience.

Join us for 00:00 to 01:05:49—right when the Millenium Falcon is tractor beamed in to the not-moon of the Death Star. We’re talking hard about the veteran viewer’s experience versus a new fan’s; deep dives into Obi-Wan, Han, and Luke; and what’s still working, nearly 50 years down the line.

Nothing has proven the Growing Up Skywalker method WORKS more than watching Rogue One and the Original Trilogy back to back, immediately after Rebels. Join us in the magic!

Send Us Your Thoughts: Now is the time! Tell your friends! Post on your social! We're hitting the Original Trilogy! What is your experience with it? Do you want to be interviewed, or share what Star Wars means to you? Make your voice heard on social media or drop us a line at growingupskywalker@gmail.com And join us next week for A New Hope: Part 2.
