About Sam & Anna
Sam Nilsson
Sam is a geophysicist who came home every day from third grade and watched the Hoth snow battle scene on VHS until the tape wore out. The first video game he owned was Star Wars: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter and Star Wars Episode I: Racer on Nintendo 64. He has watched every Star Wars movie countless times (though he has not read Star Wars Legends) and competes in X-Wing competitions in his free time. His favorite character is Grand Admiral Thrawn and his favorite Star Wars movie is Rogue One.
In the time he is not consuming Star Wars media, Sam also enjoys nerding out over archery, board games and rocks. This is his first podcast.
Anna Squires
Anna is a writer and journalist who refused to watch Star Wars until she finally found a compelling reason (impressing the cute boy she had just met). With Sam, she watched the 11 main Star Wars movies in timeline order and immediately realized why people had been trying to force her to see them all along. Her favorite characters will be given the hype they deserve in each episode’s “Bae Watch” segment. She is willing to fight the naysayers: her favorite Star Wars movie is Solo. (Her least favorite is Rogue One.)
You can find Anna drinking coffee, doing yoga or playing board games, only occasionally at the same time. This is her second podcast.
